Trees

Elms at Glenormiston

The elm trees lining the driveway up to the old Glenormiston homestead have come into leaf.

They were planted 140-170 years ago. I must re check that fact though.

New growth

Deciduous trees aren’t very common among Australian native trees (there are some, but they mostly aren’t.) It’s a great way to mark the seasons though.

These trees host lots of life and must contribute greatly to the beautiful clean air we have around here.

Doorway to a fairy house?

Trees with large trunks like these are also great to hug ❤️

Til next time!
